What is Leveraged Fundraising?

Leveraged Fundraising is a Sarnia-Lambton initiative where members of the community provide a monthly donation to help local charities. These funds cover administrative costs to run local fundraising events. We are building on our many years of success with the Race to Erase to offer a variety of events throughout the year. Instead of only one charity benefiting from a donation, we are multiplying it by using it to run events that benefit many local charities. Your funds will be leveraged to raise even more.

By donating, you’re helping a group of passionate people run fundraising events that benefit local charities.

Race to Erase has raised over $500,000 for local charities since it began in 2006.
Additional fundraising events will be run throughout the year.
The money raised from Leveraged Fundraising covers the administrative costs associated with these events.
The Race to Erase begun in 2006 and was founded by Rich Bouchard and Scott McKay.
The fundraising events also work to shine a light on the many great businesses & not-for-profits in our community.
100% of the funds received in all of the events go to local charities.
